you are Beautiful

Lord, thankyou for reminding me who I am in You.

Your precious, beloved, beautiful daughter. Not because of what I've done, but who You are.
My worth, my identity is in You! I'm not defined by external circumstances or how people have made me feel in the past, but who You say I am.
Today i ran across the song, Almost Lover, by Fine Frenzy. Reminds me of many of us who have suffered from abandonment before, people coming into our lives and leaving. even if inevitable, the coming and going just... leaves us feeling as though we are
dispensable
.
So you're gone and I'm haunted
And I bet you are just fine
Did I make it that
Easy to walk right in and out
Of my life?
Should have known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

but its Not true. God found us while we were left orphaned and gave us new Life- clothed us with beauty [Ezekiel 16].
our God is a God that Heals- turns our failures and sufferings into something Beautiful for His glory <3

LORD, You shine your Light into our insecurities, and speak your Truth to us.

We are your Sons and Daughters in Christ. Sharing in Your glorious riches, New creations!
No longer shall we listen to words of darkness, ways of the world and of the flesh.
Christ has set us Free! [Galatians 5:1]
                           May we Live as so.

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope thatthe creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified."
- Romans 8:15-30 ESV

"The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." [Romans 13:12]

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." [Galatians 2:20]
